Issue Position

Schools are the future for our students of all ages.

Our schools are the heart of our community; they need to provide our traditional and nontraditional students with the opportunity to obtain a quality education.

Our primary and secondary schools need the funding necessary to provide innovative programs along with a solid basic education.

We need to provide our students with affordable post-secondary training and innovative programs such as dual credit courses in high school and statewide Internet classes. We have started a statewide Internet School but must fund it next session.

I have worked to bring improvements like the Day Care Center, Simulated Hospital, and expansion of the Welding Facility at Great Falls College MSU but more improvements must be made to continue to attract more industries to our area.
